   In 1994  Scott Bruner, Prescott Valley reference librarian, started the ball rolling with
his quest to find the answers to  frequently asked questions regarding the history of
Prescott valley.
      He found that there were 5 histories divided by time.   
Lonesome Valley with open range ranching
Massicks -a gold mining town located in the vicinity of Fain park
Native Americans inhabited Lynx Creek as evidenced by the Fitzmaurice ruins located
in Fain park vicinity
First there was the Glassford Hill volcano and prehistoric animals that once romaed in
the Aqua Fria vicinity.
